The essentially formal Nancy Steen rose garden consists largely of old garden roses with companion plantings. Most classes of old garden roses are represented here. It sits adjacent to the large garden of modern roses in the Sir Dove-Myer Robinson Park, in Parnell, Auckland. Interesting ( or not) is that if you care to scroll down this page, you'll notice an almost disney-like difference in the rose pictures when the section of modern roses appears after the old garden roses.
